Alton Jones – 2008 Bassmaster Classic Champion
BOOYAH Bait Company congratulates Alton Jones, winner of the 2008 Bassmaster Classic. Jones used two different BOOYAH Jigs - the A-Jig and Pigskin Jig – to outpace the star-studded Classic field by more than five pounds. Jones added a YUM Chunk to both jigs and presented them very slowly in approximately 30 feet of water. The win drove the Jones’ career earnings past the $1.6 million mark.

Hand-tied round rubber and silicone skirts on BOOYAH A-Jigs and Pigskin Jigs provided Alton Jones just the right profile, action and color combinations to entice Lake Hartwell’s finicky bass into biting. The A-Jig utilizes the same head shape as a BOOYAH Boo Jig and is well suited for probing dense cover. The Pigskin Jig utilizes a BOOYAH Football jighead and was Jones’ bait of choice for more open spots. Both come to life even with very slow presentations.
