Tuning a Spinnerbait
Although BOOYAH spinnerbaits come tuned and ready to fish right out of the package, it's inevitable that after catching a few fish it will need to be tuned. You can tell a spinnerbait needs to be tuned if it begins to lean to the left or right when it's retrieved.

Tuning a spinnerbait is quite easy. First, hold the lure like it's running straight at you. Make sure the line tie is aligned with the hook. Adjust the line tie with pliers if it is not. When properly aligned, the line tie should cover the hook from view.

Next look straight down at the lure and make sure the top wire is straight over the hook, again using pliers to make corrections.

If the lure leans to the left or right when retrieved, bend the top wire slightly in the opposite direction until the bait runs straight.

A properly tuned spinnerbait wires line up perfectly with the hook shank.
